While last weekend was filled with events, the hottest ticket in town was the sold out Summer Party at the Minneapolis Institute Of Arts on Friday, June 26. While tickets all always in demand for this event, this year’s edition (which serves as the pre-party for the museum’s annual black tie gala on Saturday, June 27) was even more popular since everyone wanted to help the museum celebrate its 10oth birthday.
And we were there to see it all!
As we walked down the historic steps off the MIA, we just knew we were in for a night to remember; and it was thanks to performances from Chromeo, Allan Kingdom, and opening DJ sets by Tiiiiiiiiiip and Caroline Smith. While the super appropriate hashtag #UNDERtheTENT is filled with awesome shots from the night, here’s a look at our photos from the exclusive event.
So many people on tables, she was my favorite though. FIERCE!
Allan Kingdom taking the stage and giving us life!
A DJ set from Chromeo got everyone moving!
While the event has come and gone, the MIA is already thinking ahead to next summer. Sign up here for updates and first alerts of tickets for Summer Party 2016.
