Calling all F. Scotts and Zeldas! Join Clubhouse Jäger, l’étoile magazine, Bass United Recordings and Blacklist Vintage for a Halloween Speakeasy. Come carouse, dressed in your 1920s best and step back in time for a prohibition-themed costume party that combines the decadence of the era with a spooky twist. The cozy confines of Clubhouse Jäger – built in 1906 – will be transformed into a Jazz Age speakeasy where the booze flows freely and ragtime reigns.
The evening kicks off with a classed-up cocktail affair (8-10 p.m.), complete with delectable bites from Jäger’s kitchen, prohibition-era drink specials, a costume contest sponsored by Blacklist Vintage (who’ll be giving away a gift certificate), classic ragtime and jazz spun by DJ Dirty McKenzie, and a stylized photo scene where Stephen Stephens of Digital Crush Photo will capture your moment in time. After 10 p.m., DJs Dirty McKenzie, Bryan Gerrard and SL8R will take the soiree into the night with an all-out dance party.

Period dress strongly encouraged.
Advance tickets are $8 and available at Clubhouse Jäger, or $10 at the door, and includes your choice of a complimentary classic cocktail, glass of wine or beer, photo booth and costume contest. Entry after 10 p.m. is $5 at the door.
