In anticipation of Friday’s sample show at June and on the heels of a lauded showing of her Spring 2013 collection at Minneapolis-St. Paul Fashion Week, local designer Emma Berg just released the lookbook for her Fall 2012 collection (which will be available at the sample sale). The photography/art direction team of Brandon and Chelsey Werth along with HAUS Salon creative director Charlie Brackney and HAUS’ Heath Bryant on makeup shot all 21 looks in a mere five hours at a local car garage, as modeled by Vision Management Group darling Mary Cann. The collection titled “Que Sera Sera” (which we reviewed back in February) was largely inspired by iconic Minneapolis painter Frank Gaard – who noted in a Facebook comment on one of the photos, “Trippy – reminds me of 1967 San Francisco.” When Gaard gives you the nod of approval, you know you’re doing something right.
