This week’s shopping guide highlights sales from local designers Robyne Robinson, Emma Berg and Stephanie Lake, plus Mighty Swell Vintage’s two-year anniversary.
Thursday: RAW: natural born artists presents
What: You know that new dress that still has the tags on it, the one you have been dying to wear but have no where to go? Well, this is the place. The dress code for PROVOCATION is strictly designated as cocktail attire only so be prepared for a lavish night. Three designers means three runway shows. Teaser <3 by yuli will be showing her custom and glamorous line of lingerie. Simple yet detailed leather goddess Stacie Yokiel will have her recycled accessories on display. Also Tori Foxx who draws her inspiration from culture, people and her environment will have her pieces going up and down the catwalk.Oh and don’t forget since October has started there might be some spooky live art performances to keep you entertained. Just don’t show up in costume!

Thursday: Rox Jewelry Open Studio
What: I loved watching Robyne Robinson and her chic looks when she was an anchor on Fox 9 news. Now you can own her impeccable taste in the form of jewelry. Known for creating dynamic looks made of natural elements like wood, shells, fine metals and semi-precious stones her designs aren’t limited to women, guys can get Robinson’s style too. She is opening up her Rox jewelry studio for California Building’s First Thursdays event. If you are looking for something worldly, Robinson just returned from a trip to Greece with lots of goodies.

Friday: Emma Berg Sample Sale at June
What: After just showing a collection during last week’s fashion extravaganza Emma Berg is throwing a sale featuring her Fall 2012 collection, “Que Sera Sera,” a colorful collection of wools, silk, fringe and fur skirts, work-appropriate dresses and fun party dresses. Everything – and we mean everything - will be on sale. Saturday: Stephanie Lake Clothing, Jewelry & Decor Sale
What: Is there anything else you need besides vintage, designer and contemporary clothing, jewelry and home decor – especially when it was selected by scholar, interior designer and jewelry designer Stephanie Lake? This Saturday at the designer’s annual wardrobe and decor sale, peruse racks of designer and vintage clothing, jewelry and shoes (if you’re a size 7-8), and home decor items at discounted prices.
