Wednesday: Aegis Foundation’s Third Annual High Heel Dash
What: Swap your running shoes for high heels and make it to the starting line to race 25 yards to support the Aegis Foundation and Project Healthy Smile. Carly Aplin from the CW Network will host the event and music will be cranked by a special DJ guest. Participants in the race are encouraged to raise $250 or more and will receive a t-shirt and a 30-minute massage or pedicure at Jungle Red Salon for 50% off. Men and women will receive prizes for first, second and third place: a one-hour massage at Ivy Spy Club, a one-hour massage at Bodyline and a Swarovski gift card, respectively. The highest fundraiser will receive a wine party for 10 at Stuart Weitzman including 20% off and a $400 gift card. Register at 4 p.m. and enjoy drinks and food from Masa. What: We here at l’étoile have always been big Project Runway fans, and this season features one of our very own – Minneapolis fashion designer Raul Osorio. Thursday: Fashion Fighting Stigma: A Posh Night of Fashion with a Purpose
What: Raise awareness for mental illness and money for People Incorporated Homeless Services at this fabulous fashion show featuring designs by ArielSimone, n’etc., Caroline Hayden, Primp, Motto and Rachel Blomgren. Sip drinks from the cash bar, enter in a prize drawing and snap a photo in the photo booth. Carly Aplin of the CW Network will host the show and all of the proceeds will go to People Inc. Homeless Services clients. The runway show begins at 8pm and afterward, attend a party at the Amsterdam Bar & Hall. Tickets are $20 in advance and $50 for VIP (which includes VIP seating and a swag bag).
