Thursday: l’étoile magazine presents Project Runway Weekly Viewing Parties
What: We here at l’étoile have always been big Project Runway fans, and this season features one of our very own – Minneapolis fashion designer Raul Osorio. Join l’étoile and cheer on Raul while you sip cocktails, including $3.50 house wines and $4 good-luck cocktails, every Thursday on the second floor of moto-i. Vote for Raul as Fan Favorite throughout the duration of the season by tweeting hashtag #teamraul. The winner gets $10,000 at the end of the season, and Raul has promised to throw a huge party if he wins – and everyone’s invited! Now: Parc’s Summer Style Contest

Wednesday: Pink Bow City Fashion Show
What: Celebrate pinup and rockabilly style at Pink Bow City’s first fashion show, featuring their feminine designs as well as those by Cassie Sue, Sarah M. Holm and Tici Rockabilly. Enjoy free appetizers and listen to live music by garage pop group The Shakin’ Babies. See live screen printing by Black Collar studios and bring your own items to print for $5. Photographs are encouraged and a $5 donation will offer you a Pink Bow City magazine and sticker.

Thursday: Fall Preview Shopping Event
What: Get an early start on assembling your Fall wardrobe by sorting through designer pieces in trendy styles and color. Revenue from Goodwill’s Second Debut, a designer boutique support assistance for those needed employment assistance. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

Saturday: Sohail & John’s GAYrage Sale
What: No, it’s not gay-rage, it’s a gayrage sale. To avoid conflicting interiors to their future home, Sohail Akhavein and John Sand will be hosting a one-of-a-kind garage sale selling clothing, Anthropologie mugs and coffee pots, trunks, antique mirrors and many more treasures willing to reside in your homes. Saturday: RAW presents Radiate
What: Celebrate art and music tonight at RAW, while you hear funk artist Mayda, whose music has been heard on MTV, Jersey Shore and Showtime. Graphic design, photography, studio art and jewelry are a few of the categories featured this evening. Another highlight should be up-and-coming local designer Sarah Furnaé’s work, a blend of various materials for garments including embossed leather, cow hide and wool resulting in unique pieces that represent her creativity. Also see photographs by Oliver Kristón and Christine Zrust, as well as jewelry by Split Personality Designs, a series of pieces made from recycled materials.
